I’ve been a gear provider for nearly 6 years. In the process of renting out the gear. Is a lot of cleaning of said gear as well. Which also includes cleaning my own kid’s personal chaos lol. I love helping other families with their travel needs. So why not help my neighbors with their gear cleaning needs. Having a kid myself, I know how they can get things pretty dirty. Which and lead to germs and possible illness. But as parents we can’t always chase them around with a wipe or have the time to deep clean our own. That’s where I come in. Let me start with the pros: She was friendly and answered my text. However, while yes she was apologetic my pick up time was 7:00pm and she did not arrive until about 8:30 she did communicate she was running late but that’s really late. This was a 48 hour service, it was picked up Monday 8:30ish and returned Thursday at 6:40 something because she had an emergency, which I am glad she communicated to me however we had agreed at 3-3:30pm. When it comes to cleaning, I will say A LOT of the dust the Snoo had is gone. However there was no cleaning to the mesh that was visible to me I paid for spot cleaning and the spots were still there. And under the little mattress when I run my finger on it there is still a lot of dust I can lift up. I will say it smells cleaner. I expected more for $100+ cleaning. Also while I was not upset by time changes, because I was not in a hurry, it is important that if a job is accepted the vendor can adhere to the times agreed by baby quip. Especially when there is a $40 extra charge. I am not sure I will be going through baby quip again.
